Ryan Fairbarn

Ryan Fairbarn grew up playing junior hockey in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League.  After achieving a scholarship to the Rochester Institute of Technology he began his college career. After four years in Rochester he graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice.  Fairbarn's greatest accomplishments in college were being a four year ECAC All-Star and in his first year making the ECAC All-Rookie Team.  In the 02-03 playoffs, Fairbarn was named the ECAC West Tournament MVP.  Fairbarn is ranked 29th  in career scoring at RIT, and 2nd among defenseman with 32 goals, 88 assists and 120 points, and was rewarded in 2004 as Co-Player of the Year.  After graduation, Fairbarn continued his hockey career signing with the Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League.  In his rookie season he tallied 10 points in 54 games for the Thunder.  He began his 2nd season again with Wichita and was later traded to the Fort Worth Brahmas.  He recorded 8 goals and 23 assists for 31 points in 54 games in his 2nd year.  In the off-season Fairbarn became a free agent signing with the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs of the Central Hockey League. In the 06-07 season, Fairbarn recorded 16 goals and 33 assists for 49 points in 60 games.  In the off-seasons, Fairbarn has been teaching hockey for the past 6 years at the World Hockey Center in his hometown of Bradford, Ontario, working with kids of all ages. 

Kasie Strong

Kasie Strong graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2005, playing four years of college hockey.  While in college Strong went on to achieve many accomplishments including making the American Women’s College Hockey Associations All-Academic team in her last two years of school, and also being a part of the Empire 8’s Presidents List in 02-03 and again in 04-05.  Graduating with a degree in Packaging Science, this Groton Massachusetts woman also holds many school hockey records including most goals in a game (5), most points in a game (8), and more importantly holds the school all-time assists record with 83 career assists.  She is ranked 2nd in RIT Career Scoring with 53 goals and 83 assists for 136 career points.  This former captain made 1st team All-ECAC in 01-02 and also was a 1st Team All-Rookie.  Kasie has been coaching and teaching private lessons since she graduated in ’05.

Kasie is skilled in both offensive and defensive roles, includes playing with Assabet Valley Girls Hockey, Chelmsford Girls Hockey, Connecticut Polar Bears, New England College Development  (boys), Progressive Hockey (boys), Groton School (Independent School League), and Groton-Dunstable Boys High School varsity team.  Kasie was a starting player on the Assabet U19 midget National Team in Minnesota in 2000.  She trained at Mike Boyle's Strength and Conditioning program for three years (www.bodybyboyle.com).
